Unique mini e-book branding

One of the few things you'll need to consider throughout the creation of your mini e-book is the question of keeping it unique.  Branding is especially important if you plan to give your e-book away for free, as many other 'free' e books will probably exist in your niche already – and your product has to stand out.

One of the more common ways to create a branding slant is by finding that controversial angle – if you're in a controversial area already, like politics, religion, or the adult industry, this may not be as hard as it may be in, say, marketing.  If you're already well read in the niche, you may find it very simple.

This works best with passionate and polarized headlines, compelling angles and graphics that stand out – people will be interested in seeing why you're taking such a compelling and radical angle, and will probably download your mini e-book just to find out.  It isn't however, without its detractors, so be prepared for people arguing with you if you take this route.

Uniqueness may not always come from your content – your sales approach could also be the main selling factor - take, for instance, the Rich Jerk, decided to live up to his name and treat his customers badly.  This worked well, and his product ended up as #1 on clickbank in his selected category.  You can also use this tactic to create a different kind of buzz on your sales pages – if you create something unique, until people get 'bored' of it, they will visit and grab your offer.

Test some of these tactics out – tactics that are proven to work – the next time you create a mini e-book.  By creating a brand, and buzz, you'll be able to boost your sales.
